What we build

Plugins for every part of the mission.

Your sensors, your data, your workflow, inside the map your operators already trust. Here's what we build most.

Map tools & overlays

Custom layers, drawing tools, grids, terrain analysis and mission graphics that sit alongside ATAK's own.

Sensor & video integration

FMV, RF, EO/IR, weather and IoT sensors, shown on the map in the right place, with KLV metadata where available.

Custom panes & UI

Drop-down panes, toolbar tools and radial-menu actions designed for gloves, sunlight and stress.

Mission workflows

Reporting, tasking, casualty tracking, checklists and forms that generate and share CoT automatically.

Comms & data sync

New CoT types, data packages, mission sync and behavior tuned for low-bandwidth and disconnected networks.

Plugin modernization

Upgrades for existing plugins to new ATAK and Android versions, re-signing, performance work and new features.

How plugins get fielded

Built for the ATAK you actually run.

Most plugin problems show up after delivery, when ATAK updates or the network degrades. Our process is built around that.

01

Version-match

We confirm the ATAK versions, flavors (CIV, MIL) and devices you field, and build against each one.

02

Prototype on device

Operators get a working build on real hardware within weeks, not a slide deck.

03

Harden & sign

Degraded-network testing, security review and release signing for your distribution path.

04

Our Promise

If an issue arises or a new ATAK release needs a rebuild, reach out. We respond and keep your plugin mission‑ready.

Across TAK

One capability, every TAK client.

ATAK comes first, but your users may be on Windows, iOS or a browser. We carry capability to WinTAK and iTAK where the platform allows, and keep everyone in sync through TAK Server.

FAQ

ATAK plugin questions.

What is an ATAK plugin?

An ATAK plugin is an Android package that loads inside ATAK and adds new capability for the user, giving access to new tools, map overlays, panes, sensors or video feeds and Cursor on Target message types.

How long does ATAK plugin development take?

An ATAK plugin can reach a working prototype in weeks. The timeline depends on integrations, the ATAK release requirements and the desired functionality.

Can you update an ATAK plugin we already have?

Yes. We upgrade, re-sign and modernize existing ATAK plugins for new ATAK and Android versions, including plugins written by other teams.

Do ATAK plugins work in WinTAK and iTAK?

Not directly. Each client has its own plugin model. We port capability to WinTAK and iTAK where it's needed and share data between them through TAK Server.

Who owns the plugin source code?

You do. The plugin and its source code belong to the client, unless we agree on different terms with you up front.
