What is ATAK?

ATAK is an application used by military and non military personal with the purpose to share and display data on a geospatial map. This data can range from video feeds of cameras or drones, to gps tracking with base messaging and vital monitoring. ATAK will allow users to share manipulate and display the data all in app to help them do their job.

A example of ATAK in use in a non military space. Spotter in a helicopter marks the location of survivors in a flooded zone as a team comes to the marked spots and take them back quick as possible to return again.

A example of ATAK in use within the military space. You could be setting up cameras to watch your ambush spots as you surveil an area. If a camera picks up motion it can alert the user and pull the feed so they can actively see it in real time along with HQ if they are connected.

The use cases are almost limitless!
